Skis turn off from this route after 1 km (at the U Tremlů tourist junction). the route at the Stará Huta intersection. You can also go to the Vltava Spring from the information center, although in this case you also have the second option. Overview of ski routes directly from Kvilda

Kvilda - Mountain Kvilda
A flat 4.5 km route suitable even for beginners. On the way, you pass the Jezerní slát bog, which is closed in the winter when the snow cover is higher. The reason for the closure is the wintering of the black grouse in the bog and an effort to prevent damage to the kneeling frozen to the post-war footpath. After reaching Horská Kvilda, you have several options for refreshments. From there you can continue via Zlata Studna to Churáňov or Zhůří, or return to Kvilda via Filipova Huť. Note: All listed routes are machine-modified, except for the section Kvilda - Filipova Huť

Kvilda - Sources of the Vltava
The route is 7 km long and gently climbs through the forest to the Vltava Spring. In case of snow, this section is usually one of the first to be difficult to drive because of the large amount of dirt and tail jumps. About 500 m after the source of the Vltava, you can go either right through Černá hora (be careful, be prepared for a big and long climb) towards Březník, Filipova Huť or Modrava, or left through Stráž (again a long climb followed by a descent) to Bučina . If the visibility is good, there is a nice view of the Alps. From Bučina, you can return to Kvilda via a slightly descending route (the entire circuit is 18 km long) or continue down the Knížecí Plána and from there through undulating terrain to Borová Lada, or Guard.
Note: All the listed routes are machine-groomed, the tracks in the vicinity of Borový Lad are groomed with a lower-quality roller. The Knížecí Pláně - Strážný route is modified only in very stable weather.

Kvilda - intersection of Staré Hutě - Přilba
Two different routes lead from Kvilda to the Stará Huta crossroads (according to the blue and yellow hiking signs). The terrain profile of the blue mark is less rugged. From the Stará Hutě intersection, you can continue over the top of Přilba towards Churáňov or along the ski slope to Nové Hutí.
Note: None of the named routes are machine-groomed, except for a short section in the saddle of Přilby - Churáňov, the ski tracks tend to get dirty very quickly when it snows.

Kvilda - Bučina
The groomed ski track mentioned above runs along the road, which is plowed. Therefore, this route is also suitable for pedestrians, or also for skating technique.
